For our first virtual conference, we were able to deliver a very high-touch, high-experience event!
2020 Virtual Conference attendees were privy to the inspiration and
insights from superstar speakers! ACCP was honored to have some of the
very best speakers and educators engaging with our attendees, including:
World Renowned Speaker, Simon T. Bailey; Michael Cerbelli, CEO of
Cerbelli Creative; Donna Otis, CEO of The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe;
Deb Gee, Experience Director at Lululemon; Alan Berg, an ACCP favorite!
The entire conference kept attendees on their toes and on the edge of
their seats, but probably the top five most creative and engaging
aspects of the conference were:
Chef Michael Ponzio, Executive Chef at Union League Club in
Chicago created a custom menu for the ACCP conference and attendees were
sent "Meal Prep" recipes and shopping lists in their swag boxes and
Chef Michael did a cooking demonstration during the Sunday Kick-off
Party so that everyone could prep the meal and then share the same meal
together during the Monday conference. It was a huge hit!
Greg Lambrecht, Founder and Chairman of Coravin Wine System,
guided attendees through a pouring demonstration where attendees could
learn how to use the Coravin that they received in their swag boxes. It
was the largest Coravin group pouring in history!
Rock-star speakers from past ACCP conferences were asked to
record 2 minutes or less of advice, inspiration or how they responded to
the pandemic and these were combined into a segment called "2 Cents in 2
Minutes". Speakers were popping in from all over the world!
VOX DJ, KC Campbell kept the party hopping with live "dance breaks" and music in between speakers.The "live" networking that the attendees were able to engage in
and chat with each other... nothing compares to ACCP networking with
your peers!
But Wait, There's More!
We cannot forget the fabulous pre-shipped swag boxes! In order to
create a high-touch event, ACCP pre-shipped "swag boxes" with over $425
worth of gifts from Creative Partners including Creative Coverings,
Silver Oak Winery, Rombauer Winery, Entire Productions, BBJ/LaTavola
Linens, Hoffmaster and Accent Decor. The boxes also included beautifully
designed and printed agendas, a personalized letter from Lynne LaFond
DeLuca, the Meal Prep Cards and a door hanger that said "Shhhhhhhh! Do
Not Disturb! ACCP Virtual Conference in Progress!"
Proudly, ACCP won "Association Program of the Year" Excellence in
Achievement Award for 2020 in the private club industry from Boardroom
Magazine for the 2020 Virtual Conference!
